Convocation Day

On the 25th May 2010 (Tuesday), It was my sister's convocation day. Actually, it was her 2nd convocation. The first is during her Diploma. The ceremony took place at Dewan Sri Budiman (DSB) as usual. Since it was held during the weekdays, so x ramai la our family members datang.. only papa, ummi, me and abang came (but he went back early as his shift start at 5pm). Nothing new with the convocation system (to those yang pernah pergi convo confirm tau what I meant). But I was being informed there are some changes made here and there..

1. Before this (UiTM 71st Convocation Ceremony), names are not being called. It will only be displayed on the big screen. (but then there maybe some comments made in UiTM's website so they change it). Its a good thing to change back the system. At least, the graduates will rasa berbangga bila nama dipanggil.

2. For this time ceremony, only those who received 1st class, 2nd class upper and 2nd class lower degree will have a convocation. For those who received 3rd class degree?? I bet no convocation (which is ABSOLUTELY TRUE! I saw the convocation book and there are no single list names for 3rd class graduates)..they will only received their certificate later. Shocking right?? Well, I'm sure there must be a concrete reason why UiTM did that. Hm..maybe ada yg akan cakap "x pe la.. masa diploma dulu dh merasa". but wait! Degree is different from Diploma, Master is different from Degree and definitely PhD is different from Master. Different certificate, different ceremony and surely different robe.. even there will be different pictures kan?. What can I say, If you are excellent before, doesn't mean you will be excellent today right? What we have to do is to work hard to achieve our best in everything we do every single time.

My dollhouse :)

"Sentimental value is a value placed on something because of its emotional associations rather than its monetary worth"

I bet each of us (well, maybe not each of us but most of us) have something, a real thing associated with their sentimental values. It can be for lots of thing.. Books, cars, action figures, handbags, shoes or may be dresses. For me, My dollhouses are one of the things I kept which it has many sentimental value. Some might say "kelakar" because umur dah lebih 20 tahun still simpan benda2 mengarut ni. Hm..let me prove you wrong.. I used to have a neighbour back then when I'm staying in Ipoh. He loves to play this remote control helicopter during his spare time. Well, he is a father to 3 children and his eldest daughter is 1 year younger than me. In fact, as I travel a lot, I sees a lot of grown ups love to play it as well. They even have the whole set. Adakah umur menjadi penghalang??? Nope! In fact its a great thing because you know what you like to do and you do have a clear view of what your hobbies are.

Another example, selalu dengar people love to keep baseball cards and action figures such as batman, superman and ironman?..Try to think a little bit forward where when you grew old, at least you do have something to look back at. Something to share with your children and grandchildren. By that time, the value of those thing are increasing. (Maybe not all monetarily but emotionally)

Besides that I still remember my ex bf used to asked me to buy him this submarine with camera embedded inside it..well, he was 24 that time for your information. (Mcm kanak2 hingusan??? nope I never think that way. Its just a hobby or something that you like). Sometimes I pelik because there are some people yang selalu tgk diri dia "matang" sangat.. (maybe the way thay were being raise is different but what the heck kn?? I LOVE THE WAY I WAS BEING RAISE. My parents let us enjoy our childhood perfectly.hehehe) But still, Please.. try to reduce your ethnocentrism value in yourself and sees people from their shoes for a while.

I bought this for my 14th birthday. It was the biggest one so far. Too old for it? hahaha..nope..kalau dh minat you will do anything to have it.

I bought this because I just love it.

Wedding Day

At last! Dapat jugak sy upload gambar2 ni..hehehe..sorry its may be a little bit late for this entry. I just received the pictures from the photographer. Since it was my 1st sister's wedding, Kak Ina, so a little warning before I start, this entry will be filled with lots of her pictures (^_~) Obviously la kn..hehehe..

The wedding was held on 15th May 2010 (Saturday) where the akad nikah is being done at the house and the kenduri is being held at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), Concourse level from 12.00pm-4.00pm. Nothing much to write here, just enjoy the pictures :)

BLOG & ME

I still remember the first time I learn formally about blog. Yup! inside the classroom for sure. Subject MGT 417: Information system. Still remember the charming lecturer that taught us the subject. Mr Sham (Smart, handsome and intelligent..ehehe..1st sem dh ada "crush" dgn lecturer sendiri..Jangan dia baca blog ni sudeh! x sanggup nk jumpa masa konvo nanti..hehehe). Every time masuk kelas dia je kecut perut coz dia suke tanya soalan.. The subject are a little bit technical (wait! a bit?? nope..byk technical part dia) so mana blh goreng2 je jawapan and lagipun he will stay at your place until he gets the answer he wanted..I am one of his favorite student yg akan ditanya soalan..nama commercial la katakan.."your name just 'pop' in my head" katanya. hehehe..senang org nk ingat nama sy. Well, anyways, lets start will the definition of blog.

Blog: Also called a weblog, a personal website for public view on which someone regularly records their opinions or experiences and creates links to other sites

yeah..its for public view..that is why sometimes I am curious why certain people love to privatized their blog or more specific kejap private, kejap tak private..hm..maybe jgk hanya untuk tontonan for certain public view.. I cant say much about it because its their right to do so..I once privatized my blog jgk tp hanya dengan alasan it has being violated so much..hahaha..silap sendiri..menulis blog dalam keadaan emotional sape suruh. so rasakan result dia..

I first started my blog almost a year a go..yup tau lambat..mcm org kampung??? eheheeh..x la.. cuma org bandar yg x berapa minat dengan IT sikit je..lgpn I dun really like writing.. tulis diary lagi jgn cakap la.x pernah kut. What I like to write is report assignment and research yg panjang berjela and jawab soalan exam dengan panjang sepanjangnya..saje nak menyumbang idea sendiri bagi jawapan yg ditanya..hehehe. Tulis sms pun kadang2 malas and I lebih prefer to call or hanya dengan terpaksa je kalu kena tulis panjang2 coz I knew my receiver pn x kn suke kalau dapat sms panjang2.

Actually, the main reason for me to start my blog is because of HER. yup HER..because I was amazed with her language and the style she wrote her blog. (to those who read my older blog will knows) Say I envy her?? well, for certain things je..her intelligence as a psychotherapist and advisor to someone and her natural beauty no matter whether she is thin or chubby..she still looks beautiful. Making her as my Idol??? hahaha..OBVIOUSLY NO! She can be someone else idol but not mine.

My current blog pun sekarang tak update sgt..too busy with other things though. But sometime sy "teruja" nak tau kepada yg update blog dia 3,4 kali dalam sehari..bagusnya kalu diberi masa extra mcm tu.. Seronok! but I will not going to use it just for blogging as there are a lot of other important things to do :). Anyways, BLOG & ME? sori bukanlah kawan yang rapat..blog is one way for me to express my feeling and thoughts (Eh! mcm glee plak..hehehe) but one thing for sure as I start to write a blog, I really enjoy it.

Not over the ex

Here are some information I managed to capture while using Yahoo! a few months ago. An article on "5 SIGNS HE ISN'T OVER HIS EX". Although it may stressed on men's but I believe it can be applied to both, for Men and Women.

Here are the 5 signs:

1. He wasted no time before jumping into his next relationship. If you started dating this guy shortly after his latest breakup, there’s a good chance he’s not completely over his ex – no matter what he says.

2. He fell for you before his relationship ended. These are men like John Edwards and Tiger Woods, who tell you their previous relationships are over or broken, but they still go home to their wives or girlfriends

3. When it comes to his ex, he only deals in extremes. If your new guy can’t say his ex’s name without spitting, this is another warning sign.

4. He can’t break the string. There are plenty of reasons a guy may stay in touch with his ex, and they aren’t necessarily all bad. For example they having a child together.

5. He obsesses over the remnants of the relationship. If he’s always checking her Facebook profile or you catch him poring over old pictures, you could also have a problem.

I believe some of the signs are true as I did tried to applied it on my colleague's past relationship. As a conclusion, be single for a while for at least 6 months before you enter a relationship again. During that duration time you can erase every single bit of feelings you used to have with your past partner and ready for your future relationship.

Indahnya menjadi seorang WANITA

Mulianya seorang isteri disisi Allah…

Dan betapa berharganya wanita yang bergelar isteri ini pada keluarga, suami dan anak-anak. Rugi dan binasalah suami-suami yang tidak menghargai isteri mereka kerana isteri inilah yang akan membantu mereka di akhirat kelak.

Biarlah buruk mana isteri anda, sayangilah mereka…..



Beruntungnya seorang wanita yg ada rahim ini ialah dia bekerja dengan Tuhan… sebagai pengeluar manusia.Tiap-tiap bulan diberi cuti bergaji penuh… 7 sehingga 15 hari sebulan dia tak wajib sembahyang tetapi Allah anggap diwaktu itu sembahyang terbaik darinya.Cuti bersalin juga sehingga 60 hari. Cuti ini bukan cuti suka hati tapi cuti yang Allah beri sebab dia bekerja dengan Allah.Orang lelaki tak ada cuti dari sembahyang.. .sembahyang wajib baginya dari baligh sehingga habis nyawanya.



Satu lagi berita gembira untuk wanita, Sepanjang dia mengandung Allah sentiasa mengampunkan dosanya, Lahir saja bayi seluruh dosanya habis.Inilah nikmat Tuhan beri kepada wanita, jadi kenapa perlu takut nak melahirkan anak?Marilah kita pegang kepada tali Allah. Seandainya wanita itu mati sewaktu bersalin, itu dianggap mati syahid, Allah izinkan terus masuk Syurga.



Untuk peringatan semua wanita yang bersuami seluruh kebaikan suaminya, semuanya isteri dapat pahala tetapi dosa-dosa suami dia tak tanggung.Diakhirat nanti seorang wanita solehah akan terperanjat dengan pahala extra yang banyak diaterima diatas segala kebaikan suaminya yang tak disedari. Contohnya bila dia redho suaminya pergi berjemaah di masjid atau ke majlis ilmu, bersedekah.. ganjaran Alah keatasnya jua..Bila dia lihat suaminya tengah terhegeh-hegeh di titian Sirat dia tak nak masuk syuga tanpa suaminya, jadi dia pun memberi pahalanya kepada suami untuk lepas masuk syurga.Didunia lagi, kalau suami dalam kesusahan isteri boleh bantu tambah lagi di akhirat.Kalau seorang isteri asyik merungut,mulut selalu muncung terhadap suami dia tak akan dapat pahala extra ini.



Manakala suami pula mempunyai tugas-tugas berat didalam dan diluar rumah, segala dosa-dosa anak isteri yang tak dididik dia akan tanggung ditambah lagi dengan dosa-dosa yang lain..Dinasihatkan kepada semua wanita supaya faham akan syariat Allah agar tidak derhaka denganNya.



Sesungguhnya wanita dijadikan daripada rusuk kiri lelaki.Dia bukan dicipta dari kepala ke kaki,juga bukan dari tapak kaki.Dia dicipta dari sebelah rusuk kiri lelaki supaya dia hampir kepada kamu(lelaki), lengan lelaki dicipta untuk mempertahankan wanita,dekat dengan hati lelaki untuk disayangi.
